It’s Time To Get Started!

Membership application: Proposals for membership must be made on the membership forms provided and must be signed. Photographic ID may be required on joining. Acceptance of an applicant as a member is at the sole discretion of the management. Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable.

Age: All members must be 18 or over to take out a membership with The Health Hub, except for the Student Membership for those of 16 years of age and up. Members under 18 years must be accompanied by a parent/guardian on the date the membership/induction application is made. The parent/guardian must sign the membership application form on behalf of the teenage member applicant.

Single Membership: Single membership entitles the holder to full access to the Gym, Fitness Studio, Cardio Room and up to 4 fitness classes per week (subject to change).

Gym Only Membership: Gym Only Membership entitles the holder to full access to the Gym and Cardio room. Fitness classes are not included and must be pre-paid upon booking (subject to change).

Couple Membership: Couples membership entitles the holder to full access to the Gym, Fitness Studio, Cardio Room and up to 4 fitness classes per week (subject to change).

Student Membership: Student Membership is only available if you are in full-time education. To avail of the Student Membership, you will need to show a valid student card and written confirmation from your institution be it second or third level. We will require this again on the renewal of your membership. Student membership entitles the holder to full access to the Gym, Fitness Studio, Cardio Room and up to 4 fitness classes
per week (subject to change).

Teen Gym: Teen Gym is only available if you are 13-15years of age. To avail on this membership a Parent/Guardian must sign all documents for the teen(subject to change).

Senior Membership: Senior Membership is available for anyone over 60 years of age. Photographic ID may be required to for confirmation. Senior membership entitles the holder to full access to the Gym, Fitness Studio, Cardio Room and up to 4 fitness classes per week (subject to change).

Corporate Membership: In the event of a member applying and having been accepted for a corporate rate membership, company identification must be submitted with the initial & renewal membership application in the format of the company photo identification badge or a current payslip. Corporate membership entitles the holder to full access to the Gym, Fitness Studio, Cardio Room and up to 4 fitness classes per week (subject to change).

Upfront Memberships: Payment of upfront memberships can be made by cash, credit/debit card. Full membership fees are due for payment on the date t he membership application is made. Renewal members will normally be notified of their expiry date and cost of renewing their membership approximately 20 days before the membership is due for renewal. If the membership is not renewed before the renewal date, then it is deemed to have lapsed and you will not be allowed access to the centre’s facilities without payment.

Monthly Recurring: Members joining on a recurring membership must fill in the membership form. It is
your responsibility to ensure that,
1. Your nominated bank account can accept direct debits (your financial institution can confirm this. Direct debits can only be taken from a current account)
2. On the drawing date there are enough cleared funds in the nominated bank
3. You advise us in advance if the nominated bank account is to be transferred, changed or closed.

Unpaid Monthly Membership: If for any reason your monthly membership payment is returned unpaid from your bank, you will need to make payment immediately at The Health Hub main reception by cash, debit/card for the outstanding amounts. We may contact you to inform you of the bounced payment and to request payment by telephone, text, e-mail or letter. We reserve the right to start procedures to collect these
payments at any time, including a subsequent direct debit collection later in the month.
While there are still outstanding payments due on your account, you will not be permitted to use the centres facilities until these amounts have been paid in full. Continued non-payment of direct debit payments may result in your membership being automatically cancelled. If your membership is cancelled due to un-paid amounts and you re-join you will be subject to a €15 administration fee payable by cash/card to staff at reception on your first visit to the gym.

Recurring Membership Cancellation: All recurring memberships are for a minimum term of 2 months and will continue to roll on a month-by-month basis thereafter. Membership cancellation requests must be made in writing only and be made 30 days in advance by either filling in a membership cancellation form at The Health Hub main reception or sending an e-mail to thehealthhubinfo@gmail.com. If you cancel in the middle of your monthly subscription your next payment would still be due and this would be your final payment.

Freezing Membership: If you are unable to use your membership for some time, you can freeze your membership for a while to avoid paying the full membership fee. This means that when you get back, you can
continue with the payment plan you secured before you left. Membership freeze requests must be made in writing by email to thehealthhubinfo@ gm ail.com. Terms and conditions apply.

Freezing membership before the minimum 2 months: You may temporarily freeze your direct debit membership before the minimum 2-month term for reasons of illness or travel. If you are medically unable to use the centre, you can request a membership freeze for up to 6-months. You must provide a doctor’s certificate/letter at the time of requesting the freeze. Ongoing medical certificates/letters are to be provided to keep the
membership frozen. If you are travelling abroad for an extended period of time (minimum 1 month), you can request a membership freeze for up to 6-months. You must provide a copy of your travel documents showing departure and return dates.

Freezing after the minimum 2 months: Memberships may be temporarily frozen for injury or sickness upon completing the minimum 2- month term of membership. Travel documents and medical certificates are required upon freeze requests.

Payment Upfront Freeze: When a payment upfront member freezes their membership time will be added by extending the expiration date. Special Offer memberships cannot be frozen for the duration of the offer.
Memberships must start when purchased and cannot be frozen for a later start date.

Freeze application:
• All freeze applications must be made before the intended freeze start date
• A membership can be only frozen for a minimum of 30 days, 60 Days or 90 Days
• Direct debit payments will stop during the freeze period
• Direct debit payments will resume automatically at the end of the freeze period
• Please allow up to 30 days for freeze applications to be processed
• Freezing is not permitted on short-term or special offer memberships (e.g., memberships that last less than 6-months).

No Show: As a member, if you book a class and fail to show up this will result in a charge of your account.

Cancellation of Classes: All fitness classes must be cancelled a minimum of 5 hours before the fitness class is schedule to start. Failure to cancel your class prior to the 5-hour cancellation policy will result in a charge on your
account.

Lockers: Members should use lockers provided to hold their personal belongings. The Health Hub won’t take responsibility for any loss or damage for a member’s own personal property.

Personal Training: Personal training is only allowed in The Health Hub with a trainer from The Health Hub. No outside trainers are allowed. Members or non-members who use outside personal trainers in The Health Hub will have their membership and use of the facilities revoked.

Limitation of Liability: You may use the facilities at The Health Hub at your own risk. The Health Hub will hold no liability for any loss or damage to property nor damage sustained by you. You may accept full responsibility for your use of any facilities at The Health Hub at your own risk and indemnify and hold harmless the center, its shareholders, board of directors, management, employees, representatives, agents or
lessors from all loss, claim, injury, damage or liability sustained or incurred by you or your property, however caused. Members must comply with The Health Hub’s rules, taking note of any health and safety guidance displayed in notices posted in the premises.

Risk Warning: It is a requirement that all users unfamiliar with the equipment must undertake an induction with a member of staff at The Health Hub before they use our gym facility. You must take responsibility to undertake this induction and operate the machines/use the facilities correctly as shown. If you are in any doubt on how to use a machine, then don’t hesitate to ask a member of staff. One must consult their doctor about using the gym’s facilities if they have any known medical conditions or injuries. This includes taking part in fitness classes as well as using the gym’s machinery and equipment.

Club Rules: Please ensure you are aware of any health and safety guidelines posted in The Health Hub. These guidelines and rules are in place to ensure everyone’s safety. Any persons not abiding by the rules set by management will have their membership terminated. Members are obliged to act responsibly. Disrespectful, unruly or aggressive behaviour towards staff or the club users will not be tolerated and those responsible
may be asked to leave.

Images/Video:The Health Hub will occasionally take pictures/videos for promotional use, but your consent will be requested either verbally or written if you feature in any of these pictures/videos.

Events: The Health Hub may occasionally hold events which will limit your membership use. These events will be clearly advertised and will be limited ensuring you get the most of your membership.

General: It is a member’s own responsibility to ensure the club have up-to-date information about you. This includes your address, medical information, phone numbers or email addresses. It is vital that your medical history and conditions form is filled out correctly and accurately. This form will be relied upon by the facility in their assessment of the ability of the member to perform any exercises or use any exercise machinery.
The Health Hub is permitted to use CCTV for safety reasons.Your image may be recorded on any of the cameras placed in the facility.
The Health Hub can keep member’s records on file for up to five years following the termination of that member’s contract. Within these five years we may contact you with news and offers.
Management at The Health Hub reserve the right to change or add to these terms and conditions of membership. Members must ensure they are aware of the changes made by management. It is the member’s responsibility that they understand the contract. It is assumed that the terms and conditions of the contract is accepted by a member if the contract goes unsigned. Upon acceptance of membership application, the
member is bound by the club’s terms and conditions.

Opening Hours: Hours of our Club are subject to change.

Fitness Class Timetable: Our Fitness class timetable is subject to change and can vary throughout times of the year or due to staff shortages or staff training, this will be kept to as minimal a disruption as possible
